Are you a social media expert with a knack for strategy, content creation, and client management? We’re looking for a Senior Account Executive to support our mission to deliver high-quality social media campaigns for a diverse portfolio of clients. If you love staying ahead of trends, have a keen eye for detail, and are confident acting as a connection between senior and junior team members, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Management
Oversee content planning, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with brand strategy. Support reporting and apply insights monthly to optimise content performance. Support and manage influencer campaigns and paid social campaigns. Suggest reactive content ideas, keep up to date with industry changes on a daily basis, and support in coming up with initiatives to incorporate these into our client work.
- Content and Creative Work
You will contribute to brainstorms for creative client work, as well as support with the production of evergreen content and campaigns. You will need to remain updated on external brand campaigns and ways these could inspire our own work by learning from their success.
- Optimisation and Analysis
Stay updated on algorithms and implement agility across campaigns to maximise reach and engagement, as well as adjust campaigns when needed (e.g., content use, timing) with efficiency in mind. Monitor client analytics regularly and identify key performance drivers. Conduct regular health checks, proactively spot challenges and opportunities, and maintain open communication with your Account Manager on any issues in a timely manner.
- Strategic Support
With the support of Account Managers, build out strategy decks that will include focuses on audience targeting, landscape research, competitor analysis and more. Be dynamic and show initiative in your approach to these strategies.
- Client and Team Communication
Maintain clear and proactive communication with your line manager regarding progress, responsibilities, and deadlines, highlighting potential issues in advance. You will also need to express leadership qualities by providing clear and concise instructions to juniors (Account Executives, Account Assistants, interns, etc.), guiding them effectively and giving clear, effective feedback on their work. You will also need to build strong relationships with your clients that are based on trust and integrity, and maintain regular liaision with them via daily emails and weekly calls.
- Management Projects, Budgets and Time
Senior members of your client team will assist on these, but you will be given steer on how to implement and maintain budgets when outsourcing work to designers, copywriters and specialist content creators. You will also have responsibility toward maintaining quality control and deliverables from projects and budgets.
- Agency Processes
This will include spreadsheet management and KPI tracking; as an SAE you will be able to maintain neat sheets inclusive of simple formulas that provide at-a-glance signals of KPIs. You will engage in agency processes such as timesheets in a timely manner, assisting our operations to work smoothly and efficiently.
- New Business Support
You should always act as a positive representative of Truffle, including on socials, and be a proud ambassador of our agency. You will be expected to support business development methods by attending networking events, upselling your existing clients, and support on new business proposals, calls, and pitches when required by the Managing Director. You will also be expected to contribute to decks and create engaging case studies.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience working on consumer brands (ideally, experience working across multiple brands rather than in-house)
- Be passionate about and have a clear understanding of social media platforms and trends: Meta (FB & IG), TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest
- Experience using social scheduling platforms and pulling data for reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Solid time management and prioritisation skills; someone who can demonstrate the ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities and workloads in a fast-paced environment whilst staying calm and focused
- A creative flair and ability to come up with new ideas
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review others work as well as your own
